When you make a topic from cvs, or a plain text file you can specify how much 
"context" is in the
diff file. That context is shown in the topic. You may be able to find the same 
kind of option in
clearcase.

Well, it sounds like it does not know you are using a clearcase repository. How 
is the repository
configured, and how are you making the topic?
