Apache > version, MySQL version, Perl version, etc. The problem with mysql 5.0 I believe was fixed in the latest rc version. If you plan on using a language other than English you should probably go for the newest stable version of perl. Recent versions of perl have a lot of unicode fixes that codestriker now needs. In general, codestriker works with just about any version of apache. The mysql 4.1 is needed if you want non-english comments. Otherwise 4.0 will work (I am running 4.0 with English only). Same with perl 5.8.anything is fine for English only, otherwise you will want the latest stable 5.8.8.
