Hi Ryan,

I've installed Codestriker on both Redhat and Debian-based systems, 
using both MySQL and PostgreSQL.  I don't think there is any preferred 
distribution really - at the end of the day, you'll still need to 
install some extra Perl modules as a part of the installation.

Some distributions, such as Debian, will have packages for these Perl 
modules, however most people will just use PPM (the Perl package 
manager) to install the missing modules.
