Hi,

Sorry for coming in a bit late on this. If codestriker created the highlighted 
lines when the topic was created, the 10 -20 seconds or so of syntax processing 
becomes way less of a big deal. Make a new field in the database that has the 
cached "display" version of the topic. Also having a cached html version of the 
document gets codestriker a long way towards reviewing pdfs, word files, excel 
etc.

Sounds like an excellent idea.
