It was removed intentionally - more out of laziness than anything
else.  Basically, in 1.9.6 there was a massive amount of refactoring
to the delta rendering code so that it is now all template toolkit
generated, which makes it far easier to customise.  This is why syntax
highlighting could b easily implemented for example.

I basically didn't bother re-implementing the Line XXX links, since I
figured the parallel versions gave the same info, and you could always
horizontall scrolly our browser window to view either the old or new
file..
