Hello,

I had no knowledge of this system. Here I was using baremetal in the context of
the CodeZero microkernel, which offer the possibility of writing applications
with a minimal environment. It also provides a posix environment as well as a
linux one.

Regards,

Lionel

Objet : Re: [codezero-devel] Baremetal questions

I have not seen the word "baremetal" for a decade.

LibOS and ExoOS are the two bit strings that I associate with them.
Are they still in play? There was talk about implementing a VM with
registers-only, and not stacks, with compiler designs initially for a
Linux BIOS.

The best idea I can support for open s/w is to collect and edit
current material for pages on the Wikivesity (free form project in the
Wikipedia orbit).
