Since named locks are server-wide, it might be better to name the lock
something like:

name="application_#application.applicationname#_coldspring_singletonca che"

Less chance of it colliding with some other app elsewhere on the server.

Good point. The only thing is, who know where the bean factory is created it may be part of an application, or even someone's session. I added a property to the factory, beanFactoryId, a guid and used that to key the named locked. This should be fine, since the cache is private to the instance of the factory itself.
