I'm afraid I already tried that. I was hoping that's all it was, but no such luck. I've tried rewriting my XML so the ReactorFactory beanDef is passed a string instead of a bean reference, but no luck there either. I'll keep prodding at it, but thanks for the suggestion.
Is there any reason why CS would start with my factory-bean objects, even though they aren't listed first in the XML? Is there a way to force CS to create my factory first?

Did you click clear template cache or restart your server? This kind of
error happens usually when there is something in the cache (recently
seen on upgrade for Model-Glue 1.1)
