Barney is correct. You *may* be ok by removing the AOP package, but I can't see any reason why you'd need to. Mental-space could be trimmed by not talking about AOP (I hope your developers aren't trying to learn CS by looking at its source).
 
With that said, you can remove the /docs and /examples folders if you want a slimmer deployment.
