We do that in our service layer, which acts as a marshall (converts data types 
to/from TO) to sets of managers. 
Managers have their deps. injected however.
At some point, a part of your code does need to know how to get the initial 
ColdSpring context :-) The trick of course is trying to minimise those bits.
