CF8, I haven't checked if it happens on 7, I'll check it out when I go
into work tomorrow. 

But like my other reply, I thought you had to explicitly state the
correct returntype from the CFC or else you just get a generic object on
the Flex side.

Everything works fine if I have returntype="something" not
returntype="any"

Are you using CFMX 7.0.2 or the CF8 public beta?
