I am using bean factory aware approach in ColdSpring. What this mean is that you can define a getter and setter for "BeanFacory" in your service object. On object initialization, ColdSpring will automatically inject that entire bean factory into this service object.

Whilst I don't want to emphasize the "weight" of ColdSpring, I believe its object creation has three or four phases (dependency analysis, object creation and construction for all new dependent objects, setter injection). Something like that.
