Hey folks just an update on this. I created a Connect presentation that goes over the impact of the enhancements I'm proposing. If you have a few minutes I'd be interested to hear what you think. Again, to sum up, the changes will let you:
1. Alter the API of methods generated in a remote proxy (match methods by name, list of names, or wildcard; change method return types; add arguments; remove arguments; change argument types; set argument required or defaults; etc.) 2. Pass custom metadata into your AOP Advices for their use (pass custom values in for the entire component or for matching methods) http://experts.acrobat.com/p72899621/ Sean, since you mentioned you often can't use the remote proxies because the API it creates doesn't always match your needs, I'd be particularly interested in what you think about this, if you have the time.
