At least now we know there isn't actually anything wrong with ColdSpring or the Mach-II ColdSpring plugin, but rather with the way you're using them. I would download and look at the LitePost sample application, which demonstrates how to use ColdSpring with Mach-II. That should get you going in the right direction.
