I just noticed that in both MethodInvocation and AdviceChain, there are exclusive named locks (lines 58 and 112, respectively). Neither of them are long running locks, but as near as I can tell, neither of them need to be there. Removing would give a potential boost to concurrency. I'm sure they're there for a reason, so what am I missing?
