Ya, gracias a Dios, va mejorando poco a poco. Gracias, Nelson Calderon (hijo) Miami, July 10, 1999 Dear friends of our father: Our father diagnosis is: 1- Congutine heart failure 2.- Acute superficial thromboflebits At the present time he is taken four kind of medications as follows: a) blood thinner b) lanoxin c) a diuretic d) potassium for the blood His condition has improved considerably and he is able to walk with the help of a cane. He still can not drive or he must not drive. He is resting, but must walk a little bit in the house since the pain is less severe. He sure is resting and followin the Dr.'s advice. He was giving a complete medical check-up and he is fine, no other major complications. He is due for another check-up next Tuesday. For the first time, in a long, long time, he is resting and taking it easy. He is either in bed or at the backyard with his left leg in an upright position. WE THANK YOU ALL for your emails, phone calls and prayers for our father recuperation. Our father has no words to express his gratitude to all of you. He send his "abrazo" and his own personal prayers to each and everyone of you. He knows he is not alone in this crisis. He thanks God for having friends like you. An anecdote: The Doctor that is talking care of our father happened to be one of his US Army buddy. They served together in the same outfit (1962-1963) The met again after 36 years. What small world!!!! As soon as my father could spent time in the PC, as his condition improves, he will be answering all your emails. Thanks again for your support and well wishes for our father. And thanks God, that our father has so many wonderful people as his friends.
