The fingernail test does not work in many cases.
The two way mirror principle is based in the mirror plating to be very thin,
around 50+ACU- coverage without the black layer placed on the back.
The area behind the 2W-mirror must be very dark for good mirror reflection
and the camera is placed at least 6 inches behind the glass to avoid any
possible reflection from the camera ( sometimes the camera must be blackened
to insure no reflections).
A sure way: a lamp ( flash lamp)+ADs- Turn the room lights off and place the
lamp beam reflector against the glass of the mirror, light the lamp and you
will illuminate the inside if it is a 2Way-mirror.
