As a Colombian born, I am very concerned about the critical situation that my fellow country people are confronting. It is estimated that over 600,000 Colombians have emigrated here. They are not legally authorized to stay or work in the United States. Consequently, they are barely able to subsist or to provide for their families. In order to alleviate this situation, it is important to have your voice and support in Congress. The Colombians who would benefit by this temporary measure are hard working people with a great desire to contribute and work for the communities where they reside.
