The provided collectd-4.8-dist compiled flawlessy with --with-libiptc=shipped
parameter passed to configure script, without any other trick.

Thank you. I'm going to test this now on a test machine before
upgrading from previous 4.7.1 version.

On CentOS 5.3 there are warnings about autoconf and automake to be outdated.

Name : autoconf Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version : 2.59 Vendor: CentOS

Name : automake Relocations: (not relocatable)
Version : 1.9.6 Vendor: CentOS

I have downloaded updated autoconf 2.63 from a fedora distribution to compare
it against CentOS source rpm. Should I get through and upgrade these package
as well? I suppose it's not necessary as configure script has already been
compiled and made available in the latest collectd distribution, but feel free
to correct me.

Mirko
