Hi, mysql plugin connects to the default socket ( /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock ) even if not described in the collectd.conf file. I am using 4.8.1 version of collectd. I get [2009-11-04 01:49:07] mysql_real_connect failed: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2) in the collectd logs.
