Have a look under contributions, there are multiple (CGI) scripts there that to graphing. If you want to call rrdtool manually you can still inspire you from their graph definitions (just have to replace placeholders with correct filenames). e.g. http://git.verplant.org/?p=collectd.git;a=blob;f=contrib/php-collection/definitions.php#l128 Note that for graphs that use more than one RRD files (like CPU) the required script is more complex (it has to lookup available RRD files and create appropriate graph definition).
