Hi Collectd team, I am Summer, an user from Cisco. I recently using collectd(5.3.1) to configure postgresql. Some issues blocked me.
Regarding to postgresql , the issue is when I start collectd by giving
/etc/init.d/collectd start, it failed I think.
Starting collectd: ERROR: lt_dlopen
("/opt/collectd/lib/collectd/postgresql.so") failed: file not found. The most
common cause for this problem are missing dependencies. Use ldd(1) to check the
dependencies of the plugin / shared object.
[ OK ]
Actually under /opt/collectd/lib/collectd, "postgresql.so" this file existed.
Snapshot:
[cid:[email protected]]
In addition, in case of missing dependencies package libpq, I manually install
one.
[root@crdc-c210-208 collectd]# rpm -ivh
postgresql84-libs-8.4.13-1.el5_8.i386.rpm

[root@crdc-c210-208 collectd]# lsof -i:5432
I cannot find any help from website, so I decide to turn to you to get some
help to get out the block. Please give me a favor.
Thanks:)
Summer
