I would like to install collectd on a Solaris 5.10 / SPARC
[ root@wwwdev:/ ]# uname -ra
SunOS wwwdev 5.10 Generic_147440-01 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V440
When seeing the available packages on
http://collectd.org/download.shtml#solaris, I see that "only" collectd
4.6.2 is available, and for Solaris 5.10 / x86_64.
BTW, 4.6.2 is a 4+ years release now.
Unfortunately, there is no package available on SunFreeware so that I
have to compile it from source.
Have you got some tip & tricks about installing some recent collectd
installation on Solaris 5.10 / SPARC?
There is on link I found:

its quite old by now and if you have some more recent experience, I
would be happy to get it.
