Abstract:
This session will cover the OSU Libraries collections and services for graduate
students in EECS. Find out about using subscription search engines like IEEE
Xplore, the ACM Library, or Compendex to find online scholarly articles and
conference papers. Learn to use search strategies like cited reference
searching to go from one good article to many. Become aware of what is
available at the library and the services we have to help you get the
information you need to be successful in your research and writing.
Speaker Biography:
Margaret Mellinger is an Associate Professor in the OSU Libraries, and the library liaison to the College of Engineering. She received her Master of Science in Information Sciences from University of Tennessee, where she subsequently worked as an academic librarian before coming to OSU in 2003.
