GLFN AUD (Gilfillan Auditorium) Mon, 02/13/2017 - 4:00pm Bruce E. Hofer Audio Precision Abstract: Designing an analog circuit with ultra-low THD (<-120 dB) is a challenging, even formidable task. There are many factors that can limit this aspect of performance including component non-linearity, semiconductor non-linearity, and even mutual inductance. This introductory seminar will address many of the significant issues facing the designer of such circuits, while also providing a number of useful suggestions.
