Mad Con Members: Yosef aka. Critics - 21years. Parents from Eritrea and Ethiopia. Lived in Norway most of his life. As a person: self critical, always makes a challenge of every situation. Tshawe aka. Kapricorn � 20 years. Parents from South Africa. Lived in Norway for 15 years. As a person: always makes an effort to stand out. Mad Con: Founded in 1994. Worked with several producers since then but ended up 1997 signing with Incredible Productions. Worked with the first album for 3 years, with a vision to create something of their own. Navid their producer is from Pakistan, he comes up with totally different ideas than a normal Hip-Hop producer would come up with, says Yosef. God forgive me is the first single and it sounds like something you never heard before, ethical and original. They used a lot of time to get all the pieces right together, the music, texts and flow. It has only been released in Norway for the time being but is released in the rest of Europe in the late summer. Mad Con has also had a lot of attention from various record companies and media outside Norway. - The amazing thing is that though we are different we always agree. That gives us freedom, and that�s what you need to make good music, says Tshawe. You can see that Mad Con has existed for a long time, the music speaks for itself. Maybe it�s the growing up on Oslo�s East Side that has brought out the extreme. It seems that they really know exactly what they are doing. Mad Con has been warming up for several rap guru�s, for example for Wu-Tang clan this year in Oslo. Mad Con signed a major record deal in April this year��. After the first single came out which topped the charts immediately, the schedule has been overbooked all the time. Everybody wants to have a piece of Mad Con. Always on tour they are teamed up with Norwegian champion of DJ:ing, DJ Sabre. Yosef is celebrating his birthday the 4th of August and promises that he and Tshawe are really going to have a good time at Koneisto festivals in Turku.
