hardcore was made by germans, like pcp-posse and so, around 90-92 and
was quite slow and quite 'heavy' sounding, as well as quite dark and
futuristic, not very happy music to listen to. gabber is as told, mainly
dutch music, super fast, made by and for football fans and skinheads,
has lots of speeded up vocal/spoken samples. and usually aims to be
'happy' music, although it can be quite rude sounding.

my fave hc record still is mescalinum united - we have arrived

and a sample gabber artist would be
rotterdam termination source

and one dutch hc group was (around the time gabber was born)
euromasters

stefan robbers had written around 1991 in one his records this text:

gabberhouse is dead long before it was born! (etc can't remember the
rest)

is been told that speedy j's pullover was the track that initiated the
gabber movement;
although he claims it was not; but track was rather made just because he
was fucked up everybody else's success with so lame music. so he did
this track in 15 minutes and suddenly he was on mtv and all
compilations...
