WHAT DO YOU BET NOBODY FALLS ASLEEP IN CLASS?
In suburban St. Louis, Mo., Tom Wahl charges people money to watch him
have sex with his wife, Suzi. He calls the sessions "seminars", intended to
help married couples strengthen their relationships.
Prosecutors have a different perspective. Last week, they arrested the
Wahls on a misdemeanor prostitution charge of violating a state law that
prohibits "sexual conduct with another person in return for something of
value".
The Wahls demonstrate various positions, acts and devices they say can
stimulate arousal.
Of course, consumers get that kind of information in books and videos, but
Wahl says his way offers more - because he and Suzi answer questions - even
while they're doing what they do.
They also were detained by police in St. Charles, Mo., two weeks ago,
after undercover police hired them to do a seminar for nine men in a hotel.
The Wahls fired back with a suit against the lead officer in the bust.
They want to be paid for the seminar, plus $200 overtime and $100,000 in
punitive damages.
