well i like ebm/industrial mostly because most of it sounds by far more
advanced than many of the current technoreleases. i kinda think that
monotraxx sounds more like industrial revolution of early 1900 than
1990-2000. puppy did really advanced stuff, soundwise, and otherwise ;)
too, in early 80's and if you compare their sound around 88 to
acid/house/techno of that era, you can hear that their stuff sounds like
it was made around 95-99 rather than almost ten years before. of course,
this has lot to do with studio engineer and skill of mixing but still..
and i still think ebm/industrial to represent the dark cyberpunk future
of bladerunner. techno is too clean and friendly for that... (ok, maybe
afx might not.. and really _early_ pcp-stuff.. )
