In Turku, among all the parties, the re-founded Communist Party has
the most of young candidates (percentually) on its list. I don't know
the actual percent, though. I just read about this in a local
newspaper. Usually the politics don't interest young people... Just
about two months ago I read an article that they don't even know the
difference between left and right (in politics, I mean... ;).

The "real" (or "original") Communist Party of Finland officially
ended its operation in early nineties. There has been several
tragicomical communist parties after it, but this one I'm talking
about, carries the same symbol (which includes the original year of
founding of the original Communist Party (1918)). It even uses the
same campaign posters as the "original" one did in eighties!

Strange... Are we witnessing some kind of new rise of left-wing
leftism in Finland or is this just a fashion whin?

How about Germany or Netherlands? There has been some talk about
leftism rise even in U.S. of A... (Whoa! I bet that CIA supports it,
though... ;)

I don't have any opinion on the whole thing... I'm just curious...
