Is there any organization which provides non-matching
socks to persons in need ? I think this would go a 
long way towards remediating depressions and other 
mood disorders.

Also, raising the dead seems not too impractical, 
provided one could find a surrogate soul to reanimate 
and temporarily inhabit the corpse.
