As long as it's the label's/customer's choice whether to have
Key2Audio or not (ie. they won't "force" it on every damn product
made in the plant), I don't see it a huge problem. The end users (us
who buy CDs) can vote by simply not buying any discs w/ Key2Audio.

Plus, I don't think most of the labels will embrace this "protection"
option due to the problem w/ CD-rom drives. Well Sony themselves do,
of course, with the hope to sell another Sony CD player to people who
used to listen to their CDs via computer. ;)

Btw, wasn't there a case like this with HIM or Bomfunk MC's or something? I mean CDs
protected this way?

...aivan kuin kaikki ketkä kopioivat CD:itä itselleen, ostaisivat kaupasta kaiken mitä
eivät enää pysty kopioimaan?! todellisuudentaju
hukassa.
Toisaalta, kuulostaahan se vakuuttavammalta sanoa "huoli
tulonmenetyksistä" kuin "tavoite voitonmaksimointiin"...
