which are all dead disgusting to me even thouhgh i´m a finn and i should be
used to eat them. the only exception is mämmi - a porridge made out of malt
- which i love. even though it looks just like shit (doesn't taste that way
though, which maksalaatikko and all mentined above do).

there's an urban legend about mämmi from the 2nd world war, when us finns
were invading russia with germans.

mämmi is trditionally served during easter. and on easter 1943 the finnish
army commanders under the wise guidance of evr-brilliant, loved, genius
commander general marshall mannerheim served a traditional easter meal to
their german allies ( adolf h. was not included, i guess). everything went
perfect: fish, lamb finnish schnaps and so on.. but. when the dessert time
came the germans ran out of table thinkin': those poor barbaric finns! they
have to eat shit for dessert!
