It's a shame that when more bandwidth is getting available, the more people
like to stuff it with, you said it, *television like* stuff...
Bandwitdth slurpers are cool when they are:
music
great gfx
programs
Well documented PDFs about whatever
but not fuckin 800k site-intro's.
Even when you do have T1+ connectivity they are a drag, a pain-in-the-ass
and a bad excuse for design.
Learn some HTML, add some JavaScript and stylesheets and that's it.
Better even: keep it plain text...
But it's true, nowhere on the TV (at least, not where I live) are you able
to see such beautiful design.
What the fuck, give us the if flashpreference_on_intro() bit before you
turn on this (often not) high-design intro thingies, please.
