the real american minimalist. with steve reich, lamonte young, philip glass,
those people. i think he kind of originally came up with the tape looping
concepts that steve reich is known for?
i don't know that much about the original minimalism movement, but i'm under
the impression that terry riley more than the other guys played gigs at clubs
etc, instead of just being academic.
