What I have always most admired about the Mac is how it created an interface that made the difficult seem easy and understandable - even to non-experts. Apple appears to be abandoning this philosophy in Mac OS X. Aqua is a valiant effort to make OS X seem like it is really just as easy to master as Mac OS 9.
