So said researcher Mike Harvey who, along with a few other unfortunate other New Zealand scientists, is studying the effects of cow flatulence on global warming. Nitrous oxide from bovine gaseous emissions is over 200 times more potent than carbon dioxide in terms of absorbing the infrared radiation which contri- butes significantly to global warming.
