it was good for Dune tho.  but at Christmas I watched the new 
 movie made for the Sci-Fi channel, and that was pretty ace too. 
They each emphasized different elements of the novel.  If I had 
to choose, tho, I'd go for the new version.  I feel guilty (???), 
bcos I'm a Lynch fan (well, let's say Eraserhead most of all), 
but the new Dune does the story well.

it's hard to believe that it's Terri Garr playing the girl in the 
radiator in Eraserhead, you can't recognize her.  Remember her ?  
I think she played Dreyfuss's wife in CE3K.  The best was when 
she was on the Letterman show and took a shower in his office.
