One of the more contentious posts on Tuesday came from Macintosh creator Jef Raskin. "From the point of view of a user running end-user software designed to be platform-independent, there is no advantage to using an Apple box. Any particular hardware advantage that an Apple might have at any given moment is soon answered by a similar move on the Wintel side. Generally, but not always, it is easier to set up, maintain, and use a Mac, but that advantage has eroded over the years. I prefer my Mac to my PC, but whereas you once had to threaten and cajole me to use a PC, now I use it with only a moment or two of protest." http://www.siliconvalley.com/roundtable/ http://forums.siliconvalley.com/discussion/msgshow.cfm/msgboard=5968009897410465&msg=4724229477806613&page=1&idDispSub=5145094516046185
