no i had no manhole ( wasnt that a mac game ? ). there is
spaceinvaders, pong, tennis, firebird, cannonball ( a donkykong clone ).
the music programms are very lame, because the sound chip of the apple is.
i think the chip has only one oscilloscop and is more a beep generator.
but i found a programm called kaleidoskop which uses the tape input
of the apple to visualize sound. didnt tested yet.
but now i have again the apple game "animals" which was a kind of
AI programm. where the user thinks about an animal and the computer
tryes to find out what animal it is. when the computer did not find it
out he makes up an entry with a new question for the new animal. this
way the computer learns more and more about different animals. i played
that very much as i was a kid. fascinating programm. uses 16k memory !
i tryed to capture the apple video output with the mac but there are
some problems with the frequency. it seems not to be real PAL because the
picture runs out of sync. strange because i used the green monocrom monitor
for watching TV also.
