did he? well he may have designed some stuff, but the primary russian
avant-garde designer was rodtshenko. without his inventions in photography,
photomontage and graphic design world would be a much much lamer place.
rodtshenko is without question one of the key figures in modern art and
graphic design.

majakovski it certainly wasn't, IMO. i'd suggest one of the following: ivan
kljun, kasimir malevitsh or the mentioned rodtshenko. majakovsky may have
collaborated, though. anyway, i ain't 100% sure so i've got to check it out.
