I just hope that Peter Jackson gives us better stuff on > LOTR. > haven't seen it (neither of them of course), but making a crap movie based on a crap book seems like a good idea, as opposed to making a crap movie basede on a good book. even if lotr turns out to be a better movie, potter is still kind of more justified. i have some hopes that now when there's the movie, all the kids who pretend to "like reading" finally admit that they actually don't, when they can watch the same stuff conveniently on video. the lotr actors look silly in the trailers. but it seems that jackson & the script writers really honestly care about making the lotr movie something more than just a way to pump in some cash, so even in worst case i think it will be an interesting view to someone's lotr. jani
