Anthony Child is one of the most influential new-generation techno producers. His self-titled debut EP on Downwards records in 1995 initially grabbed the attention of the world's leading techno DJ's including Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills and DJ Hell and gained him worlwide fame. During the past years he's developed his production skills further and taken his work into a more complex and artistic territory, searching for the balance between deep experimental sounds and club-friendly techno beats. After six albums and dozens of 12"s on Downwards, Tresor and his own Dynamic Tension and Counterbalance labels Anthony Child is still at the forefront of the techno scene. His work also includes remixes for the likes of Dave Clarke, Luke Slater, Green Velvet, LFO, Hardfloor and The Advent. Surgeon is also among the world's most in-demand techno dj's with a busy schedule spread across Europe, United States and Japan. He has been a resident at one of the leading british techno clubs, House of God in Birmingham since 1993 and also held a three year residency at Berlin's legendary Tresor club.
