Details:
The org.omg.DynamicAny, available since 1.4, is a large, serious task that
can be easily separated from the rest of the CORBA implementation. The
mechanism of dynamic acess is very similar to the java reflection mechanism
and probably can be largely based on java.lang.reflect. The Sun releases v
1.2-1.3 only includes unimplemented interfaces.
