development. Bill brings over 20 years of business development, marketing and

Prior to joining Electric Cloud, Bill Schmitt was vice president of corporate
business development for Borland Software, where he helped establish Borland in
the Quality/Testing space and built a Java partner ecosystem for their CodeGear
division. Bill also designed and built new businesses at Autodesk (ADSK) and
Agile Software (AGIL), and he is also a former management consultant for both
A.T. Kearney and EDS. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
from Vanderbilt University and MBA/MMM from the Kellogg School of Management
and the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University.
