+- Update to 4.4:
+ * New comment-dwim on M-;, sort-lines, reverse-region,
+ delete-duplicate-lines, transpose-lines, whitespace-cleanup,
+ fill-region, tabify/untabify and delete-trailing-whitespace
+ * New previous-buffer/next-buffer on C-x and the arrow keys,
+ kill-current-buffer, rename-buffer and minibuffer history per
+ prompt kind; the minibuffer now reads keys through the editor
+ keymap, so word motions work there too
+  * New display-line-numbers-mode, m4-mode and cmake-mode;
+ makefile-mode highlights automake conditionals
+ * New delete-selection-mode and ido-mode substring completion at
+ prompts, both on by default
+ * New auto-revert-mode (on by default) and auto-revert-tail-mode
+ to follow a log like tail -f; revert-buffer keeps the line in
+ every window showing the buffer
+ * New sentence commands M-a/M-e/M-k and C-x DEL,
+ recenter-top-bottom on C-l, move-to-window-line-top-bottom on
+ M-r, where-is and describe-key on C-h w/k, and the IBM CUA
+ S-Delete/C-Insert/S-Insert cut, copy and paste keys
+ * New secure mode (-S) and single-file mode (-s) for restricted
+ shells; --with-modes, --disable-syntax, --disable-help and
+ --disable-autorevert to cut features for small builds
+ * Fix shell command injection when opening a .gz file whose name
+ contains shell metacharacters
+ * Fix query-replace, replace-string and the regexp replace
+ commands corrupting UTF-8 text, and isearch missing matches
+ when the pattern has non-ASCII letters
+ * Fix M-d/M-DEL and upcase-word undo on words with non-ASCII
+ letters; words are now split by Unicode class
+ * Fix shift, control and Meta with the arrow keys, Home, End,
+ PgUp/PgDn, Insert and Delete in rxvt and urxvt
+ * Fix a line over 127 bytes in ~/.mg silently ending the load
+ * Fix C-x C-k to C-x C-x bindings shifted by one in builds
+ without dired, and --disable-ctags ignored while cscope was on
+ * Many more fixes and improvements; see upstream's release notes
+ for the full list

Subject: [PATCH] Rename keyname() to keyseqname()

The key sequence namer added in 4.4 for where-is/describe-key is
called keyname(), which ncurses already declares in curses.h as
keyname(int). Any TU that pulls in def.h after ttydef.h therefore
fails with "conflicting types for 'keyname'" wherever configure finds
ncurses/curses.h -- which is what openSUSE does.

Upstream fixed this the same way right after tagging 4.4.
