Good point, so far we have not tried to create a binary that can run as a
daemon, but it makes sense to have one. Disabling the interactive part of the
shell is one step, but we should probably also have a launcher that respects
the life cycle commands that a daemon process has (start, stop, restart, reload
(config)).
If you have any further suggestions in that area, let us know.
