Ronald Spierenburg updated ACE-377:
-----------------------------------

    Attachment: patch.diff

Attached a patch for the rename of log to feedbackchannel.
This rename patch creates a new bundle project (org.apache.ace.feedback.common)
the contains the shared domain classes and the tokenizer used to
marshall/unmarshall them. In the terminology introduced by this patch there is
a FeedbackChannel which transfers Events. Descriptors are used by these
channels to describe which data should be transferred.

The old org.apache.ace.log.api bundle which previously exported these classes
still exists. The org.apache.ace.log.* packages are at the moment still shared
between the 'old' management agent and the server. I'd wait with refactoring
those until the old management agent is removed because these changes will have
significant impact on the classes, bundles and run-configurations.

> Rename the "log" to "feedback channel"

> Right now, the channels we use to send feedback from a target back to the
> server are called "Log" services. Renaming them to "Feedback" channels sounds
> more appropriate.
