J.W. Janssen resolved ACE-291.
------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed

I've reduced the number of times the artifacts-panel was populated (which
already improves a little bit). Aside that, I've introduced two new
configuration parameters: 'artifacts.cache.rate' and 'artifacts.page.length'
that allows one to tweak how aggressively Vaadin caches rows in the artifacts
table.

>From my own experiences, I see that having a page length of around twice the
>number of artifacts dramatically reduces the number of times the server is
>needed while scrolling...

> Scrolling doesn't work well when there are a lot of bundles

> When there are a lot of artifacts in the left column of the web UI scrolling
> doesn't work well. It keeps on jumping back to the top of the list, and it's
> very slow.
