We're using the same approach as Bnd uses for its buildrepo. Now, it is no
longer necessary to create an index file for these non-bundle artifacts. The
only thing we need to think of is to make sure that the included artifacts
adhere to a certain naming convention: `<name>-<major>.<minor>.<micro>.ext`.
